| All the following rules and guidelines will be adhered to strictly... If joining our guild, you will agree to:
1.) You WILL follow the Shaiya TOS and Play Fair Rules. If you dont know them I advise you to go into Shaiya forums and read them. Here is a link for you: http://shaiya.aeriagames.com/ethics_guide If you cant follow these rules, then I am sorry, but this guild is not for you. There are too many guilds out there that all they are concerned about is the ranking, which means nothing more than who has the most people. We could care less about that. We feel the ranking should be based on how good a guild they are, and how they serve the community as a whole.
2.) It is REQUIRED that you:
A) With joining our guild you have 72 hours (3 days) to REGISTER with the guild forums (By registering with our forums you are stating that you agree to the terms of our rules and guidelines set forth and will be held accountable.), and PLEASE ENABLE an email where we can contact you with our newsletter or any other email that needs to go out to you and, INTRODUCE YOURSELF in the appropriate thread, as well as list your characters you have in the guild in the "You and Your Alt" thread. Please also post the times you are normally online.
B) READ the rules and guidelines and anything else that you NEED to read! This is your responsibility!C) Visit the forums often, at least once a week, as we will have announcements & eventually events.
D) Posting in the forum is also considered participation in the guild. In order to gain rank, you must participate in both the forum as well as the guild itself.
E) New members will be on probation for a 1 month period of time. This allows you the new member, to get a feel of the guild and the current members, to see if this is the right fit for you.
3.) It is REQUIRED that you visit the forums often to check for updates of information and occasionally make posts. Anyone that has not been in the forums for 31 days or posted in 60 days will be sent an automated email warning you that you are currently seen as inactive and need to correct that within 1 weeks time or you will be removed from the guild and forums for inactivity. Now, if you have something going on in the real world, thats ok too. But at least let us know. Real World issues do come first. So, if you need to be away for an extended period of time, make a post in the forums that you will be away. Please try to post a length of time that you will be gone as well. This will prevent any problems from arising.
4.) Be chivilrous. If you dont know what the word Chivilry means, please look it up.
5.) Treat your fellow guildmates and members of the community with the utmost respect. You will NOT abuse any individual regardless of who they are or what they may have done. Treat everyone with the utmost respect. If someone is abusing you, do not lower yourself and abuse back but take screen shots and report the action to Aeria Games. If it is a fellow guild member that is abusing you, take screenshots and report it to staff immediately, they will be dealt with and it will also be reported to Aeria games for our GMs to handle as well. If you feel you have to swear out some profanity, do it in guild chat where only we can hear you and get confused at who you might be swearing at. Also see Rule #8 please.
6.) Help others in need of help, whether it be guildies or anyone else (this does not pertain to beggers asking for gold or items). No, you do not have to drop what you are doing to help, but even a simple answer or a reply of sorts usually eases frustrations. But remember that your fellow guildmates always come first.
7.) If you want to bring alts into the guild, please let a member of staff know before you have them apply at the guild master. we can accept them immediately if any rank 1 and 2s are on, and it saves alot of time and trouble in the long run. Do not forget to update your list of characters in the guild when you add or delete an alt. This will help everyone in the long run. Please contact one of the following staff members when online to add alts to the guild: LadyPENDRAGON, LdyPENDRAGON2, Dr.Proctor-HM, LadyPen-HM, Lady-Cyrene2, Aegean, , Caranthar, Toilan, x.Tiolan.x, Trigger22250, Trigger45.70, RossWayne or pvpTrigger.
8.) Be Mature! Yes, we all have our moments! But on the most part please act like a mature adult. This does not mean that we are a group of angels. We certainly are not. If you have an arguement with a guild member, keep that arguement in PM or whisper and not in the normal, trade or guild chat. And Please do not flame other guild members in guild chat. Its simply uncalled for. If you are having an arguement and the issue isnt getting resolved, you can always call on a staff member for mediation.
9.) Keep in mind that what is said in guild chat stays in guild chat. No where else. Guild business is no one elses business.
10.) We do not sell items to guildmates. The only exception is item mall items that you pay real world money for, but even with these items please sell them at a realistic price, not at the inflated price you would see in Apulune. As for other ingame items, we do not sell them to members at all. We each freely give or lend items to fellow guildmates, this has always been an unspoken code in the past, and thought it be best to post for new members. We currently have accounts set up for guild warehouses to hold heroic weapons & armor for lending out to members. Also another one for lapis and quest items that can go out to members at no cost. All we ask is that you donate to the warehouse. If you go lapis farming and want to donate lapis that would be wonderful as we have a great need for lapis of all kinds. If you want to donate your heroics please by all means do so as it will be useful to others. If you want to donate gold to the warehouses you can do that as well since warehouses do have a cost of retrieving items from it.
11.) KSing or Harrassment WILL NOT be tolerated in any shape or form against any players. Yes, accidents & misunderstandings do happen, its understandable. We all have that happen to us occasionally. If we get any reports on this, we will investigate it fully. By investigate it fully, I mean we will accept only screen shots or videos of the event in question. If we feel its an actual event this will also be reported to Aeria Games.
1st offense...WARNING
2nd offense...KICKED FROM GUILD
Depending on how GMs look at it, you could get temp or perma ban from Shaiya other than the way we handle it. So how you behave when in game falls on your shoulders and yours alone.
